Fredericton, NB – July 06, 2012 – Spencer Murgatroyd, a young Frederictonian is gearing up for her second summer at “Hannah`s Tea Place”, her budding business at the Fredericton Region Museum.

Young entrepreneur, Spencer, sparked interest in the memoirs of Loyalist girl Hannah Ingraham after learning about the Ingraham Family from the Loyalists of Fredericton exhibit at the museum.

Spencer pitched her 2012 summer business plan to the Board of the York Sunbury Historical Society with modifications to include a homemade iced tea as an alternative to the existing herbal teas available.  The motion was agreed upon and passed, and this year Hannah’s Tea Placewill open on July 16th running Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1-4pm.

“The iced tea is so refreshing on a hot summer’s day, and is something I think Hannah would have enjoyed,” says Spencer.  “It’s only $2 for a cup of tea and homemade cookie, and there’s a great variety of teas,” proclaimed Spencer when asked about her tea place.

Spencer Murgatroyd as Hannah Ingraham will be happy to serve delicious tea and cookies to the patrons of theFrederictonRegionMuseum.
