Drawing and Watercolour at the Fredericton Region Museum
The Fredericton Region Museum invites you to take part in small-group drawing and watercolour lessons, designed to inspire creativity in a welcoming and historic setting. Whether you are just beginning or looking to refine your skills, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn, create, and connect with the museum’s rich collection.
What to Expect
With a maximum of five participants per group, each session ensures individual attention and a supportive atmosphere. Participants will:
- Learn to sketch from life with confidence
- Explore colour mixing and shading techniques
- Work with professional materials such as graphite, pastels, coloured pencils, and watercolour
- Develop sharper observation skills and artistic expression
- Draw inspiration directly from the museum’s remarkable artefacts and exhibits
Inclusive and Family-Friendly
The program is open to all ages—youth, adults, and seniors alike. To make participation accessible:
- Children from the same family receive a discounted rate
- Accompanying adults may attend free of charge
- Lessons are available in both English and French
